Russian Nesting Doll Winter Troika – 5-pc 6.5″ is set of 5 collectible wooden nesting dolls hand painted in Ukraine. All dolls represent different winter scenes. The main doll’s apron is a scene of a winter landscape with a young man and girl riding Troika (3 horse sled) together. Inside the main doll are sets of smaller dolls depicting winter scenes of Russian folk life. Main doll has pretty folk girl’s face with blue eyes with its head covered with a golden kokoshnik and a painted scarf. The dolls are finished with a high gloss to accentuate their beautiful scenes.
